The Middle School HOSA Regional event took place on March 15 at Detroit Country Day School, bringing together aspiring future healthcare professionals to compete in a variety of skill-based and knowledge-driven categories. HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) is a national organization dedicated to preparing students for careers in healthcare through leadership development, education, and competitive events.

During the competition, middle school students showcased their knowledge and skills in areas such as medical terminology, health career exploration, CPR/first aid, and teamwork-based problem-solving. The MSRC hosted an interactive table, providing students with hands-on learning experiences related to respiratory care. The exhibit was well-received, sparking curiosity and engagement among attendees.

Lindsay Greenstein and Connie Lane represented the MSRC at the table, guiding students through various activities and discussions about the field of respiratory therapy. Additionally, Andrew Marshall and Liz Santamaria contributed to the event as judges, evaluating students' performances across different competition categories.
