Job Summary
Under limited supervision, provides respiratory therapy services to patients as ordered by physicians, according to established protocols, policies, and procedures.
 
Performs diagnostic procedures as required. Respiratory therapy services include, but are not limited to, pulmonary function screening, aerosol treatments, incentive spirometry, CPR, postural drainage and chest percussion, arterial punctures and blood gas analyses, oxygen therapy, and ventilator management.
 
Diagnostic procedures include, but are not limited to ECG's, Holter monitor setup and scanning, stress tests. This position must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care and service to pediatrics to geriatrics ages 0-60+ years.
 
 
Qualifications
-Graduate of an American Medical Association/Committee for Accreditation Respiratory Therapy Education accredited program for respiratory therapy required
-Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials required
-BLS for the Healthcare Provider by 60 days after hire required
-ACLS completed by 1 year after hire required
-NRP completed by 1 year after hire required
-Successful completion of advanced practitioner exams required
-Respiratory Care License required
